Currently, we prefer members be referred by existing members. A member is simply someone on our mailing list who tries to attend our meetings when they can. We don't have a secret handshake yet, but stay tuned. LOL If you'd like to be on our mailing but you were not referred by an existing member, just send us an email letting us know why you would like to join and we will get back to you within a few days.
Members receive an email invitation for each meeting. Simply register for the Zoom meeting and click the link in your calendar to join at the appropriate time. Please do your best to be on time or early. We typically open the meetings about 15 minutes early for fellowship and we stay late for additional questions or comments.
We meet quarterly at 11:00 a.m. Eastern (8:00 a.m. Pacific) in January, April, July, and October. The meetings last one to one and a half hours depending on the subject and content. The specific dates are set quarterly based on volunteer schedules.
Membership is free! However, we may ask for voluntary donations from time to time to help pay for website hosting or other expenses.
We have a speaker who teaches for 30 to 35 minutes. We try to leave about 10 to 15 minutes for breakout sessions to discuss the session afterwards. This is also a great time of fellowship. The meeting could be an hour, if needed for a particular subject and content. We would mostly likely try to keep the same structure.
